Slalom acoustic solutions come to life in the various scenarios of the Design Week, with a big news: Casa Slalom Acoustics, Slalom’s showroom in the heart of Milan, expands and reinvents itself. On the event, the space hosts the Takeover project by Elledecor.it, which moves its editorial staff here for a week; the format transforms the showroom into a television studio that hosts Interviews with the design, an intense schedule of live interviews with the protagonists of the Salone del Mobile.

The installation, curated by architect Davide Fabio Colaci, and inspired by the sets of Italian television programs of the 60s and 70s, explores themes related to contemporary design, intertwining culture and current trends. Designers, curators and professionals in the sector will share their visions of design, offering the public a unique opportunity to deepen the dialogue between tradition and innovation. The interviews will be broadcast online, making the event accessible to those who cannot be physically present.

In this lively meeting point for design, the essence of Slalom takes shape, dressing the different interview sets with sound-absorbing solutions that are as suitable for the working environment as they are for sound treatment in the TV field, with the aim of ensuring unparalleled acoustic comfort.

«On this extraordinary occasion, the natural light that usually pervades the space of Casa Slalom Acoustics is transformed into design light», says Elettra de Pellegrin, founder and CEO of Slalom; «the heart of the installation is the interior, and for the first time we experience this place exclusively from the inside, immersed in its “belly”, as in a true container of stories».
