In the occasion of Salone del Mobile 2024, Slalom presents Living Lab, a project signed by Studiolatte to tell the story of sustainable and natural materials, creating the scenography of a laboratory where raw sources implied in the manufacturing are on display.

The celebration of ethical materials is revealed through a sequence of five rooms, a discovery path from the outside to the core of the booth.
Every room is characterized by one main colorful gesture, where textures of the wall-panel collection are the protagonists on stage, together with their finishings.

Each space is crossed by the thin surface of a table moving across the space and inspired by the conveyor belts of a research lab or a material factory. These elements relate to the visitors playfully, inviting them to observe, touch, smell, and discover the origin and the essence of the company materials and giving life to a dynamic installation.

The path through the five different rooms unfolds in different chromatic sets, each with its specific character that defines their spirit.
The architectural element of the door in between these different spaces plays a fundamental perspective role: thanks to their scale, from different points of view they allow us to perceive the play of colors correspondence through the sequence of rooms, revealing the eye-catching study of tints.

Ranging from Italian natural to PET plastic-based felt, from refined fabric to the new-in Woody and Bloom finishings, a sharp aesthetic balance performs with a harmonious color palette, expressed through a conversation between tints.
The enveloping space expresses the values of circularity and recyclability that are key to the studio and research in dialogue with the company toward a reduced environmental impact.
