We reach the most alchemical dimension of Slalom, where the fusion of new materials gives life to new chapters of acoustics, in Elle Decor project curated by Patricia Urquiola for Palazzo Bovara. The path, entitled “Alchemica”, explores the transformation of living spaces through the metaphor of alchemy.
Slalom contributes to the installation by covering the entire area of the restaurant, Herbarium, marking an important incursion into the hôtellerie sector.

For the occasion, the Bloom acoustic solution was chosen, which combines recycled plastic materials with natural fibers – petals and flowers from controlled biological corridors. A felt curtain frames the scene, a tribute to the elegant geometries of Piero Portaluppi, who curated the restoration of Palazzo Bovara in the post-war period.

Herbarium, with its symbolic covering of the walls, fits into the theme of seasonal metamorphosis.

Slalom reappears in the corridor space of “Alchemica,” this time in collaboration with Rubelli which, for the occasion, covers Slalom’s ECOrange Upanels with its Barnaby fabric in the shades of Ruggine, Cipria, and Rubino.
